Steelers safety Ryan Clark will make his first trip to the NFL’s annual all-star game after being added to the AFC Pro Bowl roster today. Clark will replace Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed, who will miss the game with an injury.
The Steelers are sending multiple players to the Pro Bowl for the 11th straight season and the 20th time in the last 23 seasons. At least three Steelers have made the Pro Bowl every season dating back to 2001.
Named to this year's team are: quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide receiver Mike Wallace, center Maurkice Pouncey (missing the game with an injury), safety Troy Polamalu (missing the game with an injury) and kick returner Antonio Brown. Linebacker James Harrison was added to the roster earlier this week.
The Pro Bowl will be played on Sunday, January 29, at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii and televised on NBC at 7 p.m. Eastern.
