According to multiple reports, league sources have confirmed that free agent Visanthe Shiancoe has agreed to terms with the New England Patriots.

The New England Patriots signed free agent tight end Visanthe Shiancoe to a one-year deal according to multiple reports.
The deal is for $1.2 million and could be l could be worth as
much as $2 million, the NFL Network.
CSNPhilly confirmed the report Tuesday night. Siancoe visited the
Eagles earlier in the day Tuesday and was trying to decide beween the
offers from both teams.
According to the report a pair of Eagles' scouts who
watched Shiancoe work out said things went well. Shiancoe also thought the visit went well.
"Terrific. Very good," Shiancoe told CSNPhilly.com.
"I like the way Philly runs things and their offense and things like
that. I’m gonna have a talk with [agent] Drew [Rosenhaus] and weigh our
options and things like that."
Shiancoe, 32, joins a team already loaded with talented tight ends,
including Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez.
Shiancoe caught 36 passes for 409 yards for the Minnesota Vikings last
season.
