Seahawks sign Antonio Bryant

The Seattle Seahawks have signed wide receiver Antonio Bryant. Bryant hasn't played since catching 39 passes for 600 yards and four touchdowns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers three years ago. Bryant was at the Seahawks' mandatory minicamp on a trial basis, but wasn't signed because he wasn't in shape. Now, he apparently is. He has caught 372 career passes for 5,685 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Now, he apparently is. He has caught 372 career passes for 5,685 yards and 30 touchdowns. Four years ago, Bryant caught 83 passes for 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Cincinnati Bengals cut Bryant before the season two years ago after signing a four-year, $28 million deal.

The Seahawks brought in wide receiver Braylon Edwards for a tryout, but he wasn't immediately signed to a contract.
