Rookie RB Trent Richardson continues to provide a threat in the backfield.

POSTGAME NOTES

· Rookie running back Trent Richardson rushed for 105 yards on a career-high 25 carries. He added 31 receiving yards, while tying a career-best with six receptions. Coupled with his 122 rushing yards last week against San Diego (10/28), he joins Earnest Byner (1984) and Bobby Mitchell (1958) as the only Browns rookies to register back-to-back 100-yard rushing games. Richardson’s three 100-yard rushing performances this year ties a Browns rookie record. The last Brown to rush for 100-yards in consecutive games was Peyton Hillis in Weeks 3-4 in 2010.

· Richardson joins Jacksonville’s Fred Taylor (128 on September 20, 1998) as the only rookies to rush for 100-yards against the Ravens. Richardson’s 105 rushing yards today are the third-most by a Brown against the Ravens.

· Kicker Phil Dawson converted on field goals of 28, 29, 32, 33 and 41 yards to extend his consecutive field goal made streak to 23. Today marked his fourth career contest with at least five field goals. His streak of 23 consecutive field goals is the longest current streak in the and is the second-longest streak of his career. Dawson has converted on at least 20 straight field goals four times during his career.

· With 74 kickoff return yards today, Joshua Cribbs became the NFL’s all-time leader in kickoff return yards with one team. He has now racked up 9,638 career kickoff return yards with the Browns and passed Brian Mitchell who previously held the record with 9,586 as a Washington Redskin. Cribbs ranks sixth on the NFL all-time career return yards list.

· With 801 kickoff return yards on the season, Cribbs joins Brian Mitchell (1994-2003) as the only players in NFL history to record 800 or more kickoff return yards in eight consecutive seasons. Mitchell accomplished the feat 10 straight years.

· A third quarter interception by Baltimore’s Cary Williams snapped a streak of 209 consecutive offensive plays without a turnover for the Browns, which spanned 15 quarters over four games.

· Defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard tallied a season-high eight tackles and registered half a sack.

· Left tackle Joe Thomas has started and played in each of the first 89 games of his career, while center Alex Mack has started and played in each of the first 57 games of his career. Neither one of the two have missed an offensive snap during their career.

· Defensive lineman Phil Taylor made his season debut and recorded one tackle. He spent the first eight weeks of the season on the physically unable to perform list with a pectoral injury.

· Defensive back Sheldon Brown has played in 169 consecutive regular season games, a figure which currently ranks fifth among all defensive players.

· Wide receiver Greg Little tied a season-high with five receptions. Over the last four weeks he has recorded 16 receptions after totaling 11 over the first five weeks of the season.

· Today marked the first time this season that the Browns did not force a turnover. Cleveland has 16 takeaways on the season.

· The Browns had four penalties for 31 yards today. Over the last two weeks the team has eight penalties for 66 yards.

· Punter Reggie Hodges punted four times for a net average of 40.8. It was the fourth time this season he recorded a net average of 40.0 or better.
