<b>LATROBE -</b> The Steelers unveiled a new weapon at their morning practice Monday as the second week of training camp kicked off. First-round draft pick Troy Polamalu replaced Chris Hope as one of the safeties in the dime defense, joining Brent Alexander as one of the deep men.

"This is just something we wanted to take a look at," said defensive coordinator Tim Lewis, trying to downplay the move. But after giving up half of their draft to move up in the first round and get Polamalu, it was only a matter of time...
