Six Steelers make Pro Bowl

PITTSBURGH - Six Steelers were named to the Pro Bowl Wednesday, including first-time players Jeff Hartings, James Farrior and Troy Polamalu.

Joining Hartings, Farrior and Polamalu are Hines Ward, Alan Faneca and Joey Porter. This is the fourth Pro Bowl for both Hartings and Ward, while Porter will be making his second trip.

The Steelers also had a number of players named as alternates, including quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, wide recevier/punt returner Antwaan Randle El, offensive tackle Marvel Smith, defensive end Aaron Smith, punter Chris Gardocki and fullback Dan Kreider.
