Steelers close out day one fast

With Antwaan Randle El gone, the Steelers needed a return man. They got one at the end of the first day in Florida State's selfless, electric, Willie Reid.

Bio: Started at receiver as a senior and posted 50/634/1. Averaged 17.5 yards on 31 punt returns, bringing three back for scores. MVP of the ACC Championship game. Averaged 13.7 yards on 38 punt returns as a junior.

Pos: Developing receiver who impacts the game as a return specialist. Finds the soft spot in the defense, settles into zones and uses his frame to shield away opponents. Quickly gets into routes and comes back to the ball when the passer’s in trouble. Displays terrific vision, has solid speed and a creative ball handler.

Neg: Adequate size as a receiver. Marginal offensive production until last year.

Analysis: Positively impacting Florida State in a variety of ways, Reid significantly improved his draft stock as a senior. Stands as possible first-day pick and third receiver/return specialist in the NFL.
