The Pittsburgh Steelers have found ways to win throughout this season despite losing a number of players to injury.

Sunday, they found one player they couldn't competently replace.

Long-snappe Greg Warren suffered a season-ending torn ACL in the third quarter of Sunday's game at Heinz Field against he New York Giants.

And when James Harrison, the Steelers' Pro Bowl linebacker and fill-in for Warren, sent a snap sailing over punter Mitch Berger's head midway through the fourth quarter for a safety, it tied the game at 14-14 and gave the Giants a much-needed boost.

Eli Manning then tossed a 2-yard TD pass to tight end Kevin Boss following the free kick, and the Giants had all the points they'd need to beat the Steelers 21-14 here at Heinz Field.

Ben Roethlisberger matched his career high with four interceptions. But it was his 65-yard touchdown pass to Nate Washington in the third quarter that put the Steelers ahead, 14-9.

The Steelers looked to be taking control of the game on their next possession, but a holding penalty on right tackle Willie Colon negated another Roethlisberger-to-Washington bomb.

The Steelers were forced to punt four plays later and Warren suffered a torn ACL running downfield to cover the kick.

Mewelde Moore had 84 yards on 19 carries, including one that went for a 32-yard touchdown on the Steelers' opening possession of the game.

John Carney kicked four field goals for New York, which drove inside the Pittsburgh 20 six times in the game, scoring just one touchdown.

The Steelers limited the Giants to just 83 yards rushing on 35 carries, an average of 2.4 yards per attempt. New York entered the game averaging 5.7 yards per carry.
