The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to contract terms with both of their
fifth-round picks from the 2009 draft, a league source told Scout.com.
CB Joe Burnett (Central Florida/32nd pick in the round) and FB Frank
Summers (UNLV/33nd pick in the round) agreed to three-year deals. The
remaining terms of their deals weren't immediately available.
Burnett will attempt to make the Steelers' roster as a fifth cornerback.
Summers, who is powerfully built, could see time in a short-yardage role in
addition to seeing time at fullback.
