| Biography: |
| <2003: Clint Kriewaldt was a big factor in the drastic improvement of the Steelers special teams units for the 2003 season. The 5-year veteran FA acquisition recorded 23 special teams tackles (16 solo) and recovered one fumble, while providing important depth at the inside linebacker position.
Clint Kriewaldt was signed as an UFA in March 2003. He was a 6th round selection of Detroit in 1999 and started all 4 years there, mostly at inside linebacker. The Steelers will be looking at him as linebacker depth and a special teams player.
At Wisconsin-Stevens Point, he was an All-WIAC selection each of his four years there and set the all-career tackle record with 416. He was the Division III National Player of the Year as a senior.
