| Biography: |
| John Markham was signed by the Steelers in February 2004. He was originally signed by the Atlanta Falcons as a rookie free agent the previous April before being released during training camp. The Steelers allocated him to NFL Europe and he was assigned to the Rhein Fire.
John Markham was a four-year standout at Vanderbilt University, where he also punted. He converted 26-of-34 field-goal attempts (76.5 percent) during his last two years and scored 209 career points, which set a school record. |
