How Acquired: The Redskins selected Rogers with the ninth overall selection of the 2005 NFL Draft.
Career Stats:

2006: Rogers started 15 games for the Redskins, missing one game due to a fractured thumb. He recorded 88 tackles (71 solo), fifth-best on the team, one sack and one interception.
2005: In his rookie campaign with the Redskins, Rogers played in 12 games with five starts, recording 40 tackles (34 solo), two interceptions and two forced fumbles. He had become the Redskins' starter at cornerback by mid-season.
College: Among the numerous honors Rogers received following the 2004 season, he was the Jim Thorpe Award winner as the nation's top defensive back and was one of five finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Award presented to the nation's top defensive player. He was also a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award and earned Associated Press All-SEC First Team, Associated Press All-America First-Team and 2004 Consensus All-American honors. Ranked second in SEC in career pass deflections with 40. |
